Wednesday Night Alive (Sept through May)
Ages 3-5th Grade (5:30 - 7:30 pm)
All kids ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to "Wednesday Night Alive" - a time of Bible study, music, crafts and fun! It's a special program designed to develop our walk of discipleship while making lasting friendships.

Cluster Groups
The Jr. and Sr. High youth groups do a different local service project around DFW each month. The groups will work at local nursing homes, homeless shelters, and women’s clinics, helping these organizations to further their ministries. The youth have a good time, and get to the be the hands and feet of God around DFW.
Sunday Youth Nights
Sunday Night Alive (grades 6-12) meets from 6:15-8:30 pm with dinner, games, confirmation/devotional time, and open gym.

High School Bible Study
Youth grades 9-12 meet Tuesdays at the Starbucks in Westlake from 7-7:45am. We will study the New Testament.

Older Youth:
- Serve and fellowship day: August 4th. noon
- The youth will be serving in the afternoon at a local women’s clinic then heading to a rangers game that night. This is a great way to wrap up the summer and to kick off the school year. This event will be lots of fun and is no cost, we will meet at the church at noon, and will return when the ranger game ends.
- Jr. High Retreat
- October 2nd through 4th
- We will be heading back to Sky Ranch this year for a weekend of fun and study.
- This is for 6th-8th grade students but would love to have a couple of Sr. High youth as Jr. chaperones.
- End of year Party
- December 13th
- 6:15-7:45
- A great way to end the year with friend as we play games, do skits and take part in a White Elephant exchange.
Younger Youth:
- Slick city: August 5th 5:45-7:30
- The younger youth will be going to Slick City in Colleville (an indoor slide park). It’s a great facility with lots of fun to be had, so bring a friend and meet us there for an exciting evening! There is no cost for this event.
- Wednesday night alive starts up again September 9th.
- Faith Alive Christmas Program
- December 13th between services
- This is our annual Christmas program where the young people of our congregation share the story of Jesus’ birth.
- Bethlehem Marketplace
- December 16th 5:30-7pm
- Come a celebrate the Birth of Christ here at LWLC in the Family life center with this special family Christmas party. There will be lots of new booths this year where you and your family can have fun and learn about Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. There will also be a meal running through the evening and games and snacks!
All ages:
- Family night at Rough Riders Stadium. August 16th 6pm
- There is a lazy river in the outfield that we will have access to the whole game as well as deck chairs to relax in. This is a family event, where families are encouraged to come and enjoy the event with the rest of the church. The cost is $15 and will be paid to the church. I have moved the starting time to 4pm here at church. We can take the church van and eat fast food on the way. You can also meet us at the stadium before the start of the game at 6:05pm. So sign up and bring your suit and a friend and see you at the park.

- Pinstack
- October 24th 5:45-8pm
- Pinstack Westlake.
- There will be bowling, a dinner of pizza, and one hour in the arcade with unlimited games. There is no cost for this event and friends are both welcome and expected. Please let me know if you will be attending.
- Church Picnic: Nov 1 at Pickering Park - 12:30 to 3:00 pm.
- Epic Waters
- December 21st 1pm-5pm
- Please meet at Epic waters at 1pm for fun in the water under a dome! There is no cost for this event and is lots of fun to hang out with friends and enjoy the slides at this great indoor event.
